1. About Our Services
My Fresh Start provides credit report access, credit profile analysis, prescribed debt disputes, and related administrative assistance to help clients understand and improve their credit records.

- Obtain credit reports from major bureaus (including TransUnion, XDS, and others where applicable)
- Identify inaccurate, outdated, or prescribed listings
- Assist clients in preparing and submitting lawful disputes
- Provide guidance on credit rebuilding strategies
We are not a credit provider, lender, debt counsellor, or legal firm.
We do not guarantee the outcome of any dispute or the removal of any listing.
All outcomes depend on the accuracy of bureau data, creditor responses, and individual credit profiles.
2. No Guarantee of Results
While we act in good faith and in accordance with legal procedures:
- Credit bureaus and credit providers make final determinations.
- Disputes may be upheld, partially corrected, or rejected.
- Credit score improvements are not guaranteed.
Any examples, testimonials, or “success stories” on our website reflect individual outcomes and should not be interpreted as typical or assured results.
3. Compliance with the National Credit Act (NCA)
My Fresh Start operates in alignment with the National Credit Act 34 of 2005, including:
- Respect for consumers’ rights to access and challenge credit information
- Lawful dispute procedures with registered credit bureaus
- No unlawful removal, manipulation, or suppression of legitimate credit data
- No misrepresentation of client credit records
We do not offer debt counselling, negotiate credit agreements, or provide credit. Where necessary, clients are referred to appropriately registered professionals.
4. Consumer Protection Act (CPA)
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008:
- All services are described transparently prior to engagement
- Pricing is disclosed before payment
- Clients may request clarification on services at any time
- No misleading claims are made regarding outcomes
By purchasing our services, clients acknowledge that:
- They have read and understood the nature and scope of the service
- They understand that My Fresh Start provides administrative and advisory assistance, not legal or financial guarantees
5. POPIA – Protection of Personal Information
My Fresh Start is committed to safeguarding personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
5.1 Information We Collect
We may collect:
- Full name, ID number, contact details
- Credit bureau reports and related financial data
- Supporting documentation provided by the client

6. Fees, Refunds & Service Delivery
- All fees are disclosed before payment.
- Fees relate to professional time, administration, reporting, and dispute preparation, not guaranteed outcomes.
- Due to the nature of the service, refunds are not provided once work has commenced, unless required by law.
- Clients will receive confirmation of services purchased and the scope of work.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- My Fresh Start is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our services.
- We are not responsible for decisions made by credit bureaus, creditors, or third parties.
- We do not accept liability for financial decisions made based on information provided.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, logos, and materials are the property of My Fresh Start unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
9. Jurisdiction
